| I'm sorry, if I don't use the main language of this board, but I never learned french (but internet translators are a nice and handy thing).
Bascially I was wondering where DreaMaker disappeared to, after over a year of absence. It's not uncommon, that people (especially in the "free for fun" and "open source" sector, disappear just over the next day, but I thought this project had some potential, and possibilities to extend some of the options it may offer. I'm glad to see that this project is not dead yet.
Don't get me wrong. I'm neither a programmer, nor a specialist, not even a (very) active RPG Maker user/creator. But I think it's sad that many small fan projects come to an abruptly hold, cause of the lack of interest/motivation.
You should know, even if there is not a great public interest (as you had wished for, maybe) there are still people who appreciate your work and time you put into, and enjoy the outcome of it, like Lewys Crimson said previously.
Many people just use things daily, without thinking too much into it (like, who may behind all of this and that). In the end there is not much respond with none mainstream things, expect you take the time to write a couple of lines, and negative criticism usually gains the upper hand. Don't get discouraged by that, but overly enthusiasm might be a bad idea too, as you may noticed yourself. ; )
And lastly, creating own rpgs with rpgmaker xp is more a hobby, than serious business (for the most people at least, and that's fine as it is). Even if people used your program and stopped their game project in the middle of things, they still had some use in it, or never came that far; but the most important part is and was: To have an additional option, to ease up thinigs, if there is a need to do so.
All I actually can offer for your project, is only the idea, of taking "Script" Commands into account for translation (there are some RPG XP Message Scripts out there, who use Script Command Lines instead of the normal Message boxes - that would raise the compatibility greatly, I think). Correct me, if I oversaw that function in the new release (I mean the Script Dialog Box, Page 3 - last Option, not the Script Editor itself).
Apart from that, I could translate your work (DreaMaker XP 4.7) into the German language if you want, but I would need at least an english text file, for that. If you're interested, you can send me a PM any given time.
